For 2010, Anna will be teaching Anusara-Inspired^TM Workshops and Intensives throughout China and Asia. Currently she has events scheduled in China, Vietnam, India, Mongolia and Russia. Past locations include Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam); Beijing (China); Taipei (Taiwan); Kerala (India), Chengdu, Sichuan (China); Kunming, Yunnan (China); Nanjing, (China). Locations for 2010 include Nanjing, (Jiangsu); Xiamen, Fujian (China); Rishikesh, Winter Summit Trek, Rajasthan (India); Shandong, (China) Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia); Irkutsk (Siberia); Cambodia. Anna's schedule is ever expanding. If you are interested in arranging a workshop in your area, please contact us to make arrangement. Workshops and retreats can be scheduled at yoga studios, community centers, scenic parks, ancient temples, private clubs or anywhere we can lay down a bunch of yoga mats.

Anusara^® Yoga in Asia

Many of you have been inspired to begin your journey to deepen your study into and even teach Anusara Yoga, but are not sure where to look. For your convenience, we have compiled a small list of Certified Anusara teachers who are offering Anusara Immersions, Teacher Trainings, and workshops throughout Asia. The teachers in the list below are all truly knowledgeable, and we personally recommends the opportunity to attend any of these events. This is not a comprehensive list, by any means, but all are teachers whom Anna has personally studied with and knows you will be as enriched by your experience studying with them as she has been. How can you become a Licensed Anusara^® Teacher?

It is wonderful, that many of you have been touched by the spirit and joy of Anusara Yoga. Several of you have inquired about the process of becoming a Licensed or Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher. The full requirements are explained in detail on the Anusara website atwww.anusara.com under the "Curriculum" Tab. You can find the Application, Credit Hours Form, Class and Video Requirements, Assessment Form for both the Anusara-Inspired Curriculum and the Anusara Certified Curriculum on these pages, as well as, the Ethical Guidelines.

For those of you who have already visited the Anusara website and are interested in attending a 200 hour Teacher Training, you can begin your studies, by taking an Immersion (beginnning with Level 1, then continuing on to 2, and 3) for a total of 100 hours. After that, you may begin the series of 100 hours of Teacher Trainings (usually divided into either 35 or 50 hour sections). There are upcoming Immersions and Teacher Trainings listed above, but to find more listings thoughout Asia and the world, we recommend you visit the Anusara website and look under the "Events" Tab.
